Jules-François Ferrillon est né à Alger. Il habite ensuite Paris, puis la région de Libourne, et à nouveau Paris où il fait des études de philosophie. Il voyage durant quelques années en Australie, Philippines, Nouvelle-Zélande, Madagascar et en Nouvelle-Calédonie où il crée une radio locale et devient journaliste pour un magazine dans le Pacifique Sud.

Retour en France métropolitaine où il est professeur de philo et publie un livre sur l’Inde ancienne préfacé par A. Daniélou. L’Inde millénaire face à l’Occident.

Il est ensuite courtier en tableaux anciens entre la France et les Etats-Unis, puis devient producteur de documentaires. Il réalise des courts-métrages et un film pour le cinéma intitulé : Images de femmes ou le corset social. Il partage aujourd’hui sa vie entre Nice et Paris.

Jules-François Ferrillon was born in Algeria. He then moved to Paris, then the region of Libourne, and back to Paris, where he studied philosophy. He then traveled for several years in Australia, the Philippines, New Zealand, Madagascar, and New Caledonia where he set up a local radio station and became a journalist for a South Pacific magazine.  
He returned to France, where he worked as a philosophy teacher and published a book on Ancient India, with the preface by A. Daniélou  Ancient India facing the Occident.
He next became a broker of period paintings, between France and the United States, before turning his hand to documentary filmmaking. He made several short films and a full- length film for cinema called, Images of women, or the social corset. Today, he divides his time between Nice and Paris.
Forger is his first novel.
